Yesterday October 27,2008 African Press International released a warning to the American people to vote wisely to avoid bloodshed. I’m left scratching my head and wondering if this is a scare tactic to get people to they vote for Obama, or to warn us not to vote for him.
There has been alot of controversy surrounding African Press Internationals claim two weeks ago that they have tapes of Michelle Obama threatening them. They have hired Philadelphia attoney Phillip J Berg to handle the release of the tapes. Mr Berg has not come forward to say if the tapes exist or not. Mr Berg is also suing Barack Obama a case which was thrown out this week by U.S. District Judge R. Barclay Surrick and will be appealed in a higher court soon.
Chief Editor Korir of API said yesterday that, “I have had the same exact fears since learning about Obama-Odinga and the aftermath of the elections in Kenya. We Americans tend to think we are untouchable. 911 should have proved we are not. Yet, people here still believe that what happened in Kenya and other parts of the world will not happen here because we are suppose to be more educated, more tolerant, and more knowledgable. Well, look who the majority of Americans are currently voting for. A man who will not even tell us his true identity. If Obama gets in office, yes there will be severe problems and I fear for the safety of our nation and our future children.”
What is the Obama-Odinga connection? The BBC reported in January of 2008 that Odinga is the first cousin of Barack Obama. Odinga claimed Obama had taken time out of campaigning in New Hampshire to call him twice. Odinga is a Communist.
Obama took his family on what was an official United States “fact finding mission” to Kenya in 2006. What facts were to be found on this taxpayer funded expedition are not clear to me, but they are also unimportant when compared to the facts about the trip itself.
While there, Barack Obama not only found facts he found a candidate that wanted his support. That candidate was his cousin, Raila Odinga, the leader of Kenya’s largest opposition party. A socialist party called the Orange Democratic Movement and Raila Odinga was the ODM’s nominee for President.
Odinga is the son of the late Jaramogi Oginga Odinga , the former Kenyan communist opposition leader. Before the end of the Cold War , he was educated in the communist nation of, what at the time, was called East Germany. He even named his eldest son after Cuba’s communist leader, Fidel Castro.
All of this gives you a clue as to where Raila Odinga’s political allegiances lie, at least it would to most people, but not to Barack Obama. No, apparently Barack didn’t know, or if he did, he didn’t care because Obama decided to go out and campaign for Odinga. This sitting United states Senator actually used the money of American taxpayers for a trip in which he campaigned for another nation’s President. Not only that but all along the way, at each and every campaign event for Odinga, Barack Obama handed out American flags with his own face imprinted on them.
If you are wondering what the big deal is, let me spell it out for you.
Barack Obama used a taxpayer funded, government sanctioned, fact funding trip to campaign for a presidential nominee in another country. Not only was that wrong, it was poor judgment, especially when you consider the fact that the candidate he campaigned for was the communist leader of a socialist party.
But it goes much deeper than that.
Ralia Odinga did not win his election. He ran a campaign that oddly enough was quite similar to the one that Obama is running now. Official ODM campaign documents, which were shared with Obama, run with the themes of change and hope, among other things.
Odinga lost by 231,728 votes. Out of about 9 million votes cast, it was a close race but a defeat nonetheless. However, Odinga did not accept the results of the election. Instead he actually called for demonstrations which led to ethnic warfare. In regards to Raila Odinga’s efforts, the group Human Rights Watch stated there is “evidence that the ODM formented post election violence” and as a result thousands were killed and more were injured and displaced.
Is this what African Press International is trying to warn about? Is this what the United States is in for if for what ever reason Barack Obama is not elected on November 4th.
Because of Odinga’s refusal to accept the results of the election, his tribal faction participated in an ethnic cleansing of the Kikuyu opposition and Christians who did not support Odinga. With chants of ‘No Raila, No Peace, a church was even overtaken and it’s inhabitants beaten and stabbed and left to burn as they set it on fire. Those who were able to flee were tracked down and killed.
The violence raged on for weeks until the duly elected President, Mwai Kibaki caved in and in an attempt to save his people, entered into a power sharing arrangement in which Kibaki kept the title of President but Odinga was named Prime Minister.
Jesse Jackson has placed himself at the forefront of an online movement which claims that if McCain wins it will be the result of cheating. He calls for nationwide protests if McCain wins, according to a left-wing website.
Calls for “nationwide civil disobedience,” a “non-violent occupation of Washing DC,” and “mass protests” are growing like wildfire on left-wing Internet websites.
Perhaps this is why According to the Army Times, beginning October 1st, the 3rd Infantry Division’s 1st Brigade Combat Team will be deployed within the United States for the purpose of “homeland defense”. For 35 of the past 60 months, the brigade has been on active duty in Iraq. Now they’re training in the use of nonlethal weapons and crowd control techniques. The paper says the unit may be called upon to help with instances of civil unrest as well as to assist in the “war on drugs”.
The brigade will be under the control of NorthCom–a joint command established in 2002 to provide command and control for federal homeland defense and to provide defense support for variouscivil authorities. At first glance, this would seem to be a clear violation of the Posse Comitatus Act. At the very least, it sets a troubling and dangerous precedent. Will the U.S. now join the list of countries where the sight of armed military personnel patrolling the streets becomes commonplace? Apparently so.
Here’s the announcement in the Army Times: Army Times
If i was a conspiracy therorist I would be wondering now if all of this wasn’t part of a grander plan. It sounds like if Obama loses Bush will declare marshall law. If that happens we won’t have to worry about the elections. Because Bush will remain in office for God knows how long.
